Johanna is a professional dancer/singer/actor based in NYC and Long Island. She graduated magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Johanna is also a member of Actors’ Equity Association.

Johanna has had the pleasure of working on regional theatre productions directed and choreographed by Emmy Award Winner, Al Blackstone and legendary Fosse veteran, Lloyd Culbreath.

She also teaches Dance and Yoga.

 

Johanna is biracial and passionate about representation in the arts.

Born and raised on Long Island, Johanna grew up dancing at North Shore Studio of Dance, under the direction of Danielle Kimmins, a former Radio City Rockette. Johanna studied singing from a young age with her mother, Karen Isaksen-Taylor, who is a voice teacher and musician. Johanna is also a graduate of the Long Island High School for the Arts.
